Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Oghere (“we”, “us”) is a private space for self-reflection. We treat your reflections as deeply personal and collect only what the app needs to work. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address (for sign-in).
  • Reflections: the text you write and, if you use voice, the transcript of what you said. The audio recording itself is not stored; it is transcribed and then discarded.
  • Your identity record: every answer you give Oghere, from any surface (nightly reflections, anytime questions, onboarding answers, vote notes), is saved with the question it answered. These stored responses are used to build your identity picture: the patterns, resolution meter, and insights Oghere reflects back to you. You can export all of it, delete any entry, or delete everything, at any time from Settings.
  • Identity map & preferences: the traits, statements, votes, and settings you choose.
  • Subscription status: whether you have Premium (via Apple / RevenueCat). We never receive your card details.

How we use it

  • To provide the reflection, insight, and identity features.
  • To transcribe voice (via OpenAI Whisper) and generate reflections, threads, and weekly insights (via Anthropic). Your content is sent to these processors only to produce your results and is not used by us to train models.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your data or use your reflections for advertising.

Where it lives

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase for the database and authentication; Vercel for the app). Access is restricted per-user by row-level security.

Your rights

You can download everything Oghere holds for you as a single file from Settings (“Export all”), delete any individual reflection from your History, or delete your account and all associated data instantly from Settings. You may also request deletion by emailing Chelunor@oghere.co; we will delete it within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA.

Children

Oghere is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Not medical care

Oghere supports reflection and is not therapy, counseling, or medical advice. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
